"Music Makers for Life"

Violin
If you are interested in violin  lessons, find out about our program that blends traditonal and Suzuki methods

We offer violin lessons for all ages using a blend of traditional and Suzuki methods. Young students are taught with full parent participation to help them continue their practice at home. Students are taught a solid base of playing techniques and then introduced to music reading skills. The unique benefit of our violin program is our versatility. Our consultation process helps identify your goals and strengths, and then enables us to choose material that best suits you—rather than squeeze you into a set curriculum path.
If you are unfamiliar with Suzuki methods, it is based around a philosophy called Talent Education. Talent Education teaches that every child can learn, and holds to these key elements:

  • Begin Early
  • Learn by Memory
  • Creative Repetition
  • Actively Repeating previously learned pieces
  • Listening
  • Parental Involvement and Encouragement
  • Step by Step Mastery

Most students begin in our 30 minute one-on-one lessons (Artist program), but small group classes (Explorer program) are available as well. Prices vary depending on your best lesson format
